• A:Answer Hi Clockwatcher, thanks for your question. On model HBL57M52UC, and all of our models, each oven maintains its own internal timer and clock settings and each need to be set manually. Unfortunately, they will not synchronize.

Q: QuestionDoes this Bosch combination oven and microwave has a button so that I can simply add 30 seconds every time I press it? If not, is there any combination units that give me the option of simply pressing an "add 30 seconds" to make it simple to operate?

Q: QuestionMy current setup has a 3 prong outlet for the microwave and a 220 junction box for the oven. Is the electric setup the same for this combo?

Q: QuestionDoes the oven have a digital temperature read out? For instance as it heats does it display the internal oven temperature using numbers? My prior Bosch oven displayed red bars.

• A:Answer Hi Bigbadchester, thanks for your question and interest in model # HBL57M52UC. During the preheating process, the display will indicate "preheating". To modify the oven temperature, select either the Upper or Lower oven. Subsequently, the current oven temperature will begin to flash, at which point you can adjust the temperature using the "+" or "-" buttons to set the desired temperature.

Q: QuestionHow long does it take the preheating? and cooling off? Looking for a quiet unit. Are the fans noisy?

• A:Answer Hi Rosane. Thank you for your question. Per the Use and Care Manual for Preheating for Model:HBL57M52UC: Increasing the oven temperature will require a longer preheat time. For example, the preheat time for 425° F is longer than the preheat time for 350° F. Your oven has one of the fastest preheat times in the market using a concealed bake element. The lower element is hidden under the oven bottom. It is normal that the preheat time is different than your previous oven that had an exposed element on the bottom. Preheating is not necessary for meats, poultry, casseroles and frozen foods. Preheat time will be longer when the electrical supply to your house is less than 240 volts. When broiling, preheat the oven 3-4 minutes. Do not preheat for more than 5 minutes. When cooling down, again it will vary depending on the temperature that the oven was set on.
