- Answer Hi Kat. Thank you for your question. The Model #SHXM63WS5N is a 300 Series Model with a built-in Water Softener. This model is 33 7/8 inches high. The Model #SGX68U55UC is an 800 Series ADA Compliant Dishwasher which is 32 1/6 inches in height. Both have a standard third rack, 24/7 AquaStop and both are 44 dBA. The 300 Series Model has 5 Cycles and 4 Options, the 800 Series Model has 6 Cycles and 5 Options. Neither dishwasher has the Crystal Dry Option.

- Answer That is completely normal and need to be left alone without plugging, This hose is not for draining the water, the reason for it installed almost at the center of the dishwasher is for venting and circulating the air and balance the pressure inside it for better wash and most importantly better dry as it works as an air intake when the steam escape it from the top while in the drying process.

QuestionAfter installing hard wood floors, the floor height is raised. From the bottom of the counter to the top of the floor is 33". The space under the counter where the dishwasher goes is 34" top to bottom. Will a standard washer fit through or do I need ADA?

- Answer Had a standard bosch with 33” cutout, and it fit. Should be fine witch ever one u choose! Just check the specs on the product.

- Answer Hi lpryor2. Thank you for your question. The Eco Wash Cycle is best for delicate dishes and glasses, the Eco cycle lowers temperature and cycle length to decrease energy usage. The Options available for use with the Eco Wash Cycle are Delay, Half Load and Extra Dry®

- Answer Haven't had that issue but I would assume you can just turn the power off and that would reset your settings. You may have already tried that. We love ours and have to look a couple times to make sure it is running, it is so quiet. Good luck, I hope that helps.

- Answer Don't know about your area but there were none available here in the Detroit area either. Because of its size (called a low-profile model) it was considered a special order item. We lucked out that someone had purchased one and then returned it and we got it out of their clearance area at a fantastic price. All papers and connections still in wrapping, with just a minor scratch on the door handle which to this day I haven't noticed.

QuestionIs there a no heat dry option? Can you turn the dryer heat off? I want to wash fine china. High heat drying ruins the gold plating. Bakes it off.

- Answer Hi there. Thank you for your question. This model has a Delicate cycle that washes the dishes at 140 Fahrenheit. This cycle is the coolest our dishwashers will wash and dry dishes.

- Answer Yes you have to buy and add salt. The unit allows you to change the amount of salt dispensed based on how hard the water is. There are other options for dealing with hard water but if you don’t want to deal with adding filters this works great.

- Answer Yes there are holes on the side to secure it, nothing separate needed. We have granite countertops and had to do the same thing.

- Answer The Bosch is not attached to countertop - comes with installation hardware for securing to side cabinet(s). Comes with all necessary hardware for all purposes.

QuestionHow thick is the inlet water hose? Existing cutout to pass inlet and drain hoses in my kitchen cabinet are mid-cabinet vs at bottom, so the hose takes up space behind the unit. I want to add hose thickness to unit depth to see if it will fit flush.

- Answer I checked my dishwasher against the Bosch Recall list, and my model is not in the power cord replace group. As to whether the Powercord has been replaced, I can't answer that part of the question.
