Q: QuestionMy local building department won't let me use a blower that is more than 400CFM. Is there a blower that I can use with this downdraft system that is compliant with that rule?

Depending on which type of Cooktop you are using with the Downdraft you may need other parts in addition to the Recirculation Kit #HDDREC5UC, such as a 36 inch gas Cooktop Seal Kit for installation with gas cooktops #HDD6RSP, a trim kit #HDDTRIM36S for our FlameSelect Cooktops and the Charcoal Filter Replacement #HDDFILTUC. • A:Answer No, the blower and duct assembly are NOT included. They are an expensive addition and they are required. They are not options as it says in numerous documents.

Q: QuestionOn the 800 series downdraft to vent out directly through the bottom of the appliance what is needed to transition from the hood down through the floor and into a floor joist and out to a side wall 10' feet away.
