QuestionHi. The Key Specs says that there are 4 heating elements. The photo shows 5 stove top burners. Can you explain how that works? Is the bottom drawer for warming or can it be used for storage? Thanks.

QuestionI currently have a Jenn Air that is an electric slide in with a downdraft vent (there is no hood over the oven and it is in an island). Would this work in that case without a downdraft vent since there is no overhead hood/vent?

QuestionHow deep does the cabinet opening need to be to make SURE the smooth cooktop surface is entirely over the counter. (Because the surface overlaps the counter). I just don’t want any of that cooktop surface to hang over the edge. Would 24” be adequate.

QuestionSo the Bosch 800 series does not require a hood vent or a down draft vent correct ? Does it have a built in vent system ?

Bosch has several ventilation options that are designs matches recommended for this range: chimney wall hoods, under-cabinet range hoods, custom insert hoods, pull-out hoods and over-the-range microwaves.

QuestionMy countertop is 36" high. The height of the range is listed as 36 1/2". How thick is the glass cooktop? Can the range be adjusted down so that the cooktop rests on my 36" counter?

QuestionMy Bosch electric range model HEI8056U works fine but the issue we have is even after using the right rear burner the hot light doesn’t stay on until the burner is cool enough to touch This just started doing this about a week ago. Until then it was ok

QuestionMy old electric range butts directly next to my refrigerator. Will this product be okay to install next to my refrigerator? There is no room to put a wall nor spacer between the two appliances. Will this product work in this situation?

QuestionDoes this have a safety lock out for the burner control knobs? Our previous slide in range had a lock out feature but it was only for the oven. Numerous times the knobs would get bumped and we would realize later that a burner has been on.

- Answer Hi sparky. Thank you for your question. The 800 Series Slide-in Electric Range, Model:HEI8056U does not have a built-in vent. There are several that would work with this range. We have Over-the-Range Microwaves, that provide ventilation: Model #'s HMV3035U, HMV5053U and HMV8053U. We also have Chimney Wall Hoods: Model #'s HCP30E52UC, HCP50652UC, HCP80641UC and HCB50651UC.We have three Under-Cabinet Range Hoods: Model #'s DUH30152UC, DUH30252UC, DPH30652UC. We also have a Custom Insert Model #DHL755BUC and a Pull-Out Hood, Model #HUI50351UC.

QuestionWould this range fit between countertops that are 35 1/2 inches high? I am concerned that with the lips on each side that it wouldn't slide into the space due to the height of our countertops. Width wise we are fine at 30 inches. Thanks.
