Questionif you pause the music or podcast, will the noise cancelling function stop? In other words Can I have a conversation with someone if I pause the music or will I have to take them out of my ears?

- Answer The noise cancelling function does not stop if/when you pause your audio source. What's truly unique about the QC 30 wireless headphones is you can choose the level of noise reduction. So yes you can have a conversation with the ear(s) if you reduce the noise reduction appropriately.

- Answer No way to use on airplanes. The only option is to maybe purchase a bluetooth adaptor for airplanes and pair the headphones to the adaptor.

QuestionDo the ear pieces retract into the larger unit? I've seen numerous similar styled devices (not from Bose, of course) that do this, and haven't seen anything that says if these do or do not do that as well. Thanks!

- Answer No, they don't retract. The one's i've seen to be retractable also have a very thin, almost hair-like wire, that looks easy to break.

QuestionI hear static when I take a call or move around - headphones seem to pick up noise and amplify it. Also, I hear myself in 'speaker' when I talk. I am in a quiet place. Headset was charged and reset. Any ideas?

QuestionI am not able to mute the mic when in a call. Moreover the instructions to mute need one to press the volume up and down simultaneously. I dont know how you do that with one hand. Plus tried doing it with two hands but it worked 1% of the times only.

QuestionIs it possible to use these while sleeping for their noise cancelling abilities only? I am a truck driver, and am finding it difficult to sleep a full night due to truck stop noise/traffic. Just wondering if they'd be comfortable enough for sleeping?

- Answer Yes, I sleep with them nightly to eliminate/minimize snoring noise. Not a issue. The neck brace may twist a bit but nothing problematic. Occasionally, one of the ear buds may slip out while sleeping but this is generally not detected until I am awakened.

- Answer The QC30 does not do a great job of canceling out conversations. QC20 is much better, and QC35 is even better at doing so.

- Answer I use these to ride motorcycles.wearing Half helmet at high speeds is the same as a leaf blower pointing straight at your ears...you shuld be good with these blocks out the wind from my ears also the road noise really good. Ive tried many earbuds doesnt work anywhere close to this...ill suggest you get em
