Q: QuestionAre these bluetooth compatible? Do they plug into 2 outlets? Do I need an amp for these to make sound?
Asked by Billy.
- A:Answer You need an amp. They do not have bluetooth. They plug into the back of your amp with speaker wire. They are great sounding speakers.

Q: QuestionCould someone explain what "2-way" means?
Asked by TStith.
- A:Answer 2-way means that there are separate drivers that cover all of the sounds that the speakers can reproduce. The AM-1 features a separate Tweeter for high frequencies and a MidBass driver for middle and lower frequencies. The benefit of this approach is that the drivers specialize in reproducing the range of sounds that they have been designed for rather than one driver trying to do everything. Additionally, there is a passive bass radiator that helps to fill out the bottom end for better bass.

Q: QuestionDoes anyone know the weather rating for these? I know it says weatherproof, but do they list a temperature range? Trying to see if we can use these in Michigan with the extreme weather and cold. Do the speakers have a waterproof rating?

Q: QuestionWhere are the speaker wire connection points? Are they for open wires or a plug in adapter?
Asked by JS.
- A:Answer The speaker wires attach to spring loaded posts located in the base of the speaker mount . Signal passes to the speaker through the speaker mount arm where it pivots . I would recommend a thin coating of di-electric grease to these rather large connection surfaces .

Q: QuestionWhat type of amp would you need to power the B&W speakers?
Asked by Amplifier.
- A:Answer In my experience, you will need an amplifier with at least 80-120w of RMS (Continuous) power per channel at an 8Ω impedance rating to get the most out of these speakers. Your speakers need to have adequate power to realize their advertised potential. Just remember if you add two of these 8Ω speakers to one channel the resistance will change to 4Ω. So if you find a two-channel amp make sure it's 4Ω stable if you plan on using 2 speakers per channel.
