A:AnswerI am having the same issue, I have had this about 3 years, I also have the coffee maker that I bought around the same time that the heating surface is rusted on and a Breville impress express espresso machine that I have had for a year and 8 months that the steam doesn’t work on and hasn’t worked for the last year. When I contacted Breville for that issue they told me I needed to descale but that made no difference. I paid a lot for these appliances thinking Breville was a quality brand but am very disappointed.
