No reserve. You fill your mug..dump it in the back and then start. That is great since you get the amount of coffee you want for sure rather than pre-set terms which can leave a mug half empty needing to be run twice to get a full cup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This does not have a cup reservoir, which we find easier. On other makers we had to guess between three pre-set sizes as to what would fit the particular cup. This way, we pour clean water in from the clean cup we plan to use, and it brews just that amount. The cup base is adjustable or can be taken off for a tall travel cup. Also, the water is fresh instead of sitting there for possibly several days.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No water reservoir. You measure the amount you want in a cup and pour it into the single side, or measure the number of cups in the carafe and p0ur it into the carafe side. It also has cup measurements inside the tank on the carafe side or ounce measurements on the inside of the single side, however, I find these hard to see without sufficient light.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You pour a cup in each time.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.reservoir only big enough for one cup on the single service side. Separate reservoir for carafe. Big pain!
