- Answer Pot brewing starts in 3 to 5 seconds and depending on how much water you put in, the coffee brews very fast. Single cup brewing time is less than 15-20 seconds. I love this machine.

- Answer No reserve. You fill your mug..dump it in the back and then start. That is great since you get the amount of coffee you want for sure rather than pre-set terms which can leave a mug half empty needing to be run twice to get a full cup.

- Answer Yes, but it is way too hot and will scorch the final cup or two if you let it. Even after turning it off it takes a long time to cool down.

- Answer No. Whatever you put in the reservoir will get brewed completely. No way to choose a partial brew.

QuestionI'm trying to figure out what puts the "triple" in Triple Brew... I'm only seeing "double" - the carafe and single serving. am i missing something? the description isn't very informative. also, what's the tube that hangs down in the carafe from the lid?

- Answer 1. Basket ground for the carafe. 2. Single serve pods in the adapter without the mesh use the capsule button. 3. Single serve ground in the mesh adapter use ground coffee button. As for the tube, Different compounds are extracted from the coffee grounds after different amounts of time in water, so the first coffee that drips out is usually stronger than the last; the destratification tube ensures an even mix. QuestionI just purchased a brim trio coffee maker and used it for three days without problems until the fourth day when I tried to make a single cup of coffee with my own grounds not a k-cup and it wouldn't brew. All it did was heat the water until it steamed it
