QuestionMy husband wanted to buy me a new printer as a Christmas gift. I asked for a Brother HL-L2370DW, but he inadvertently bought an HL-L2320D. Are they similar? Do they use the same toner model (he ordered Brother TN-660 toner)?

- Answer The printers are similar, of course, but differ in connectivity options. The 2320 supports only USB, while the 2370 supports USB, WiFi, WiFi Direct, and wired Ethernet. The 2320 uses a TN630 or TN660 toner cartridge; the 2370 uses TN730/760/770. Other differences: the 2370 can accept heavier bond, and has a slightly faster print speed (36 vs. 30 ppm).

QuestionI'm considering this printer because my old HP laser printer driver doesn't work well with my new MacBook Pro. I need to know if the Brother printer allows margins to be as narrow as .25 or .3 inches. Does anyone know that answer?

- Answer Hello RJT, My best guess from your rather short observation is that your print setting needs to be adjusted UPWARDS for a higher quality print job. You seem to be set for DRAFT MODE which saves a LOT of toner, but it not intended to be used for final letters, or other print jobs.

- Answer Yes! The cartridge that comes in the box is a starter cartridge good for appx 700 copies. Just pop it in and start printing! You’ll eventually need to buy a regular cartridge to have on hand for when the starter one runs out.
