    • Answer Yes, you can scan to e-mail. That is one of the default "choices" in the scanning software. The first time you use that feature you need to tell it which e-mail program you use so that it knows what application to start so that it can attach your scanned image to an e-mail message. Of course you can also just save the scanned file to your computer and then attach it manually to a message yourself.

    • Answer Kind of an "it depends" answer. That is to say, scan speed depends upon whether you are scanning black and white or color, and the resolution at which you are scanning. The limiting factor here isn't the speed of the Automatic Document Feeder... it is the scanning process itself. (Makes sense when you think about it: the scanning process is slower when you are capturing more detail and more colors). Regular monochrome documents scanned single-sided scan at about 22 pages per minute. For color, about 7. If your originals are double-sided you need to cut those numbers in half.

    • Answer As long as your iPads and the Printer are on the same wireless network, you can print from any device to this Brother printers. Our iPads works just fine with it.

    • Answer Yes as long as the paper or envelope meets the printer's media specifications - see the manual which you can download for free from the Brother web site. It's best to feed odd size media and labels/stickers through the manual feed slot to minimize the likelihood of jams. You can set the printer to print straight through, front to back, rather than to the output tray, reducing the bending it requires to feed the printed item up and into the normal tray. This is especially important with stiff media (heavy cardstock) and stickers, which can peel off and stick to the rollers as the sheet bends, creating jams and spoiling the stickers.

    • Answer In full disclosure... I've never actually tried that, but.... Here is some context: card stock generally comes in five weights: 65, 80, 100, 110, and 130... so 110 pound card stock is really thick. It certainly would not work in the standard paper tray as it simply won't bend in the "S" curve paper path used by most laser printers. I have serious doubts about using paper that heavy even in the "straight through" manual paper path, exiting out the back of the printer... Brother specifies a maximum of 43# paper for the manual feed path. It sounds to me as if you would need a specialized printer of some sort... more of a commercial machine. You could consider clear laser labels, which come in various sizes.

    • Answer If you're asking about documents, yes. You can photocopy or print an image that's larger than the original. If you're asking about enlarging anything else, no. Check your email spam folder. There are probably lots of messages in there about products that people use to try to enlarge other things.
