A:AnswerHi there! If the light turns on at the switch, but not via the Google Home app or Google Voice Assistant, this means your Google Home device most likely dropped the connection to the bulb. The bulb will need to be reset in order for it to be paired again to your Google Home device. The reset process is 8 seconds on, 2 seconds off (repeat 5x or more until you see the bulb flash.) If you are unable to reset the bulb, please make sure you're not using a three-way lamp to reset the bulb and that you are not counting too slow or too fast. Feel free to contact our Support at 1-844-302-2943 if you are still unable to reset them. We will be happy to reset it with you over the phone.

A:AnswerYes you may control the light bulbs with your Google home app. Turn the light on and Google home will automatically detect the bulb then setup.
A:AnswerHi Mo. This all depends on what level of control you want to have over the lights. These are bluetooth enabled bulbs and to take advantage of the bluetooth control, you will need an app that can interface with the bulbs. If you only want to control these from an app when you are at home, then the bulbs along with our C by GE app is all you need to do this. If you wish to use voice control with Google Assistant, then you need the bulbs, an official Goggle Home Smart Speaker, and the Google Home app. If you wish the use the bulbs with Amazon Alexa or Apple HomeKit, you will need our C-Reach smart bridge to use for this. So there are several options based on your preferences. I recommend calling our support team and telling us more about how you would like use the bulbs, and we can help make the best choice based on your needs. A:AnswerThese bulbs are not meant to be used in fully enclosed fixtures like a glass globe over the bulb. A C-Start switch would be a better option for this.
A:AnswerHello, RandomGuy. For the C by GE bulbs to function with Alexa, a C-Reach is needed to set up the connection.
Thank you.

A:AnswerYes these can be programmed in alexa or Google home or c by ge app to remain off until you schedule it to turn on or you slide the indicated light to on in the apps. I have mine scheduled to come on every Sunday at 9pm and it does so as long as you leave the light switch on the wall in the on position. You do need a c-reach smart bridge to connect light to app & phone. You can get a C-reach plug in that has the bridge integrated into it, it's easiest. Hope this helps you.
A:AnswerIf you turn the main switch off nothing else you do can turn it on. But if the main switch is turned on, you can turn the lights on and off from the app or with your google home.you can also schedule times you want the light on or off with your google home. For example, part of my morning routine is for google home to turn the light on and play the news .
A:Answer1) No you can not adjust temperature of the light.
2) Yes you can put in enclosed fixtures.
3) No they will not work with Apple home kit, you need Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance A19 Bulb Starter Kit (Hub and 4 bulbs) or any Lifx bulbs.
A:AnswerHey Cathy, thank you for reaching out to us. The difference between the two would be the range bluetooth only has a certain range where as the direct connect lights link up to your wifi network on the 2.4ghz frequency band. You do not need a mesh router to use them and mesh routers can cause conflicts if broadcasting 5g signal this can easily be disabled momentarily though and turned back on once the devices are paired to the 2.4ghz frequency.
