    • Answer Hello, Thanks for asking! We appreciate the interest and we're glad we can help. We found that since this model has vents located near the rear of the cooktop. These vents provide the air inlet and outlet that are necessary for the range to keep cool and operate properly with correct combustion. Therefore, external ventilation to the outside is not required. Hope this helps! -Sylvia@Cafe

  • QuestionAre you able to set utensils on the griddle when not using the center burner? Does the center griddle get hot when using the side burners?

    • Answer Hi Mark - Thanks for considering Café Model CGS700P4MW2! Utensils/Items should not be placed on the griddle when it is not in use. Heat from surrounding burners can heat the griddle and may result in fire.
