• A:Answer Because the flange distance is greater in Nikon cameras than in Canon, there's extra space (2.5mm) to add an adapter. Doing so enables you to use infinity focus in Nikon lenses. However, mounting a Canon lens onto a Nikon SLR is impossible, as you cannot have a negative 2.5mm adapter.

• A:Answer I bought mine to for astrophotography, but yes it would work perfectly for that. I recently went to Iceland and only used the standard lens for pictures and my iPhone for panoramic shots. The below pic is what I took with my 18-55mm lens, but I wish I had not left my 24mm in the car... I would have caught more of the surrounding landscape. Enjoy your trip!

• A:Answer I'd go for the 50mm just because of the lower f-stop number. In low light and night photography, there lower the f-stop, the wider the aperture. Wider aperture means more light, which will make it easier to pick it up. I'd recommend looking up Nebula Photos on YouTube for a crash course on taking pictures of the night sky.

• A:Answer No. The Canon 5D Mk IV is a full-frame sensor DSLR. Canon EF-S lenses are specifically for Canon crop-sensor cameras like the Rebel series and will not work on Canon full-frame DSLR cameras. You'll need to look for a Canon lens that's an EF lens.
