- Answer You need 110 volt power to the printer. A converter from 12 volts to 110 volts should power the printer.

- Answer The Canon printer uses 110 volt power. The power cord is included; it is a cord similar to what laptop computers use.

QuestionCan this printer be operated on the go with a battery?

- Answer Yes, the battery kit is optional (Canon item #LK-62) and expensive at around $100. However, if you just need to be able to use it in a car, boat, RV, etc., you can get a car cigarette lighter adapter cable pretty cheap. I found one new on eBay for $11 including shipping. It plugs directly into the printer and bypasses the (bulky) AC adapter box that's normally used with the standard AC plug.

- Answer i have never use this printer outside US. but if you used a US laptop with a European adapter, i dont see why this printer would behave any different.
