QuestionI am looking for a simple to operate printer that can print with black ink only even if it contains color cartridges. this is for personal use only and I never use color, therefore one that works separately without having to purchase color cartridges.

- Answer This printer might work for black ink only, but i think there are other models out there that are designed specifically for black and white that may be cheaper.

- Answer Make sure it’s connected to the computer and in the package it tells you what website to go to to download drivers for it. Otherwise google make and model software download and go to manufacturer website and download necessary driver software and done.

- Answer The instructions that accompanied the printer I bought does not address this question. It is a great printer, and can do most printing except two-sides in one operation. Most questions concerning routine printing is covered in the instructions accompaning the printer. Hlope this helps.
