QuestionHow many prints can you take with the included color and black cartridges? Is amount of ink in those comparable to the 240 & 241 cartridges (not the XL) you buy separately?

- Answer Just got the printer 2 weeks ago and I noticed that were already low on both the color and black ink we printed a lot of stuff though probably a couple hundred pages in black and white mostly in a few color and we're close to having to replace the cartridges like in the next few days so maybe we just so use it a lot but it seems like they could have gone farther.

- Answer Great printer, comes with standard starter black and color cartridges. You can set the printer to just print in black. Very easy to setup, nice printer for the money

- Answer I use only Canon ink. Have tried cheaper, reprocessed ink BUT be warned that the printer can object and completely prevent operation by issuing a fatal error. Black is 240, 240 XL or 240 XXL; Color is 241, 241 XL or 241 XXL

- Answer It depends on your OS. This does NOT support (i.e., there's no drivers to install your printer) anything over 11.0. The current OS for Mac is Sonoma and I had to return the printer because they do not support any recent versions of their OS...and don't bother mentioning these details in the product listing.
