QuestionRJ38-WD-8T does NOT exist on Chefman.com website. They require an access code for this model to register and/or get onto ClubCheman. Please provide information as to how to register when they don't list it, also the and I need access the "Access Code"
- Answer I had emailed Chefman telling them that also, that I couldn't get into the "club" because when I typed in MY correct access code that's on the bottom of MY Chefman airfryer, I kept getting a reply saying THAT access coed didn't exist. Someone from Cheftman emailed me back saying to type in the word "SUPPORT" in ALL CAPS, for the access code, so I did, and it WORKED. ;) I hope it does for YOU TOO. :)
QuestionCan you actually see through the viewing window or is it kind of blurred like an oven window?

QuestionHello, I bought this air fryer and was wondering if I am supposed to take the rubber on the tray out before I use it. I’m afraid that the rubber would melt when it’s hot. Thank you!
- Answer No, I believe you are meant to leave it on. The purpose of the rubber is to make sure the tray fits snuggly into the basket. It also helps to prevent scratching between the tray and the basket.
QuestionJust bought this fryer and wondered if the end light ever goes out after you are finished frying? I thought the touch screen would go out when not in use, thanks for helping.
- Answer In my experience, the light goes out on it's own after a few minutes.
QuestionDoes it need or is it better to spray the tray with cooking spray first?
- Answer I use avocado oil, I just pour a little on a paper towel and wipe on the tray. Food doesn’t stick and it’s easy to clean.
QuestionIs this appliance dual voltage? Would it work with 220?

QuestionI bought this air fryer a few days ago. It was working fine but now the LED timer keeps beeping and none of the other buttons work. I unplugged the air fryer for over an hour to see if it would reset. It did not help. Is there a reset feature?
- Answer So far I have not had any problems with it.
QuestionWhen my air fryer is on it sounds like the fan is loose and hitting metal. Is this normal or do I have a defective unit?
- Answer Mine sounds like that too and I was wondering the same thing. It is not consistent, either.
QuestionIs this basket easy to clean or do you have to be careful not to get the whole thing wet ? It does not look like a insert basket that is easy to clean like the Ninja Foodie.
- Answer The basket is very easy to clean. I pull out and stick it under the faucet and wipe it out. no problem
QuestionCorrection to an answer I gave just now..... I said it is 1800 watts....it is actually 1700 watts power.

QuestionHello, I just bought this air fryer and it is perfect for my family and kitchen. The only problem is that the food is getting the "plastic" taste. I mande some nuggets and we couldnt eat them. Does anyone had this issue? How can I fix this? Thanks...
- Answer I haven’t had this issue, but when I received it I made sure to hand wash the basket and insert and towel dry them before letting them sit on the drying rack for an hour or so before using it for the first time. I’m assuming you probably did this too, but just in case you haven’t you can try that! Other than that my suggestions would be to lightly toss your food in a little bit of oil or put a light layer of oil on the insert (like dab some oil on a paper towel and rub that on the insert) before cooking.
QuestionWhat is the actual outside measurements of this unit
- Answer Outside measurements should include height, width, and depth. What are they?
QuestionWe keep trying to get rid of the horrible plastic/chemical smell of this item. I've cooked with it 5-7 times and still very strong. Yesterday, I tried running it at 400 degrees for 40 minutes (as I saw suggested for doing 4 times). No help. What to do?
- Answer I hade the smell the first several times, but have used it about 30 times now and haven’t noticed it anymore. I think I stopped. Pricing after the first time I made bacon in it.
