A:AnswerI asked the same question. I just recommend turning off your volume for the ring doorbell and use only the chime pro and also if you haven’t for your homes actual doorbell that the home came with. Shut it off.
A:AnswerYes, You'll select the mechanical bell setup. You'll end up hard wiring the remote device from the chime/extender to your existing bell and power. We had to do the same. It's pretty intuitive, but if you need help, the 1-800 ring support team is great.
A:AnswerI'm quite sure you can, I was going to do it but I changed my Wi-Fi plan from 6 mbps to 12 and it worked. My house is pretty big to, so far no problems.
A:AnswerI have 2 cameras. One in the front and one in the back. I only needed 1 extender for the front. The back is closer to the router so it had no issues with signal. You may be ok with one also
A:AnswerThe doorbell is a definite plus if there is anyone else at the home where the Ring system is installed, otherwise it will only ring to the phone that has the app installed on it. Plus it helps with the wi-fi signal to reach where the doorbell is installed.
