QuestionWe currently have two phone numbers and four AT&T ML17929 phones. Each Phone has one phone wire plug that carries both phone lines to the phone. Will this phone system (base and extensions) work with both phone numbers on one wire?

- Answer Pat - The AT&T ML17929 is a stand alone phone and cannot be registered to another telephone system. The CM18245 on the other hand is the extension deskset compatible with the telephone base model CM18445. The Telephone base can register up to 9 extensions. Thank you, -VTech Support

- Answer Andrew - The actual operating range of the VTech CM18245 may vary depending on the environmental conditions, and other interferences such as walls, doors, and electronic devices nearby. You may try installing the main Console as far away as possible from electronic devices such as radios, cordless phones, personal computer and kitchen appliances. Thank you, -VTech Support

QuestionI have both CM18445 &CM18245. I have CM18445 Auto Attendant set up to press 1# to reach the CM18245. I've recorded announcement to leave a message when no one is available to pick up on CM18425, but it will only go to the default CM18245 system greeting.

- Answer Dear Duke, this system lets you to choose between your own recorded announcement or default announcement. If you prefers using your own announcement, you must select "User anncment" under ANS SYS when setting up.

QuestionDoes the CM245 extend the range of the entire system or is the range limited to the distance from the main CM18845? I have 3 buildings and 500 ft of overall distance I need coverage for.

- Answer Kris - The operating range of the CM18245 varies and is dependent on the environmental conditions and the time of use. We recommend you place the main base unit in an open location for optimum range and better reception. Thank you!
