QuestionDoes the backup camera record as well?

- Answer Yes, both cameras record at the same time and saves them on the card as separate files.

QuestionI have this front and back camera. Today somebody was very close to me and made an illegal move towards my front. I wanted to check my camera when I got back but I found that this part of my trip was not recorded. Why? Thanks, Jen

- Answer Sometimes my cam does does start on start up. Have to restart car or push reset button on bottom of cam. Only happens once in a while, just make sure it starts when starting vehicle

QuestionDoes this have serviceable batteries or are they not changeable? I have a Cobra now and when the battery screws up, the whole unit needs replacing.

- Answer No serviceable batteries and nothing rechargeable that I am aware of. Plug it in to the cigarette lighter/USB and you are good to go. Maybe there is something more that I don't know about with the "Continue" question when you turn your car off, but I am not aware of what the could be or why it is needed.

QuestionWill the camera remain working when my car is off and locked?

- Answer If it is connected to a power source and set to "Parking Record'' then yes, it will record if it detects any motion during parking. The built in battery will only last for about a short period of time. If you want to record for an extended period of time, you have to hardwire it.

QuestionCan the second cam be placed out side on mirror or will weather mess it up

- Answer I wouldn't recommend it. It only has a small piece of adhesive that is about one square inch. Also, it doesn't seem to be very waterproof.

- Answer you can see just the rear camera on display but understand you have a 2 inch screen , dont buy a dash cam for rear camera driving not a good match

- Answer It is good for traffic concerns but not late night vandalism. I have not looked passed the $250 range but I know there are a lot better ones out there but you will have to pay for it.

Questionmy cobra cdr895d dash cam won't stay on and green light is flickering! I switch it on but after a few seconds it shuts down and red light goes out back to flickering green light! I'm guessing my cable is ok as there is power to the green light! batter??

QuestionUnit stopped recognizing the rear cam after a few days. Checked pins on all cables and none are damaged. Tried reformatting the sd card, that didnt fix the problem. Tried plugging the rear cam directly into the main unit, that didn't work. Any ideas?

QuestionMy camera fell off the windshield. Now it's chripping, blinking off & on, not staying in place (wiggles around.) The tiny wheel that holds the camera steady disappeared when the camera came loose & can't be found. How do I eset camera settings to startup.
