- Answer Thank you for your question. Pure Sine wave power is closer to what you would get from a standard AC outlet in your house. However, producing a Pure Sine wave is more energy-intensive compared to producing a Modified Sine wave, which is adequate for about 90% of situations. The Modified Sine wave is a good compromise between efficiency and compatibility.
