Q: QuestionMy old thermostat has a jumper for RC and RH wire, do I need to copy this configuration for the jumper for this Emerson Thermostat? Thank you

• A:Answer Somewhere in the installation instructions it indicates these are already jumpered (ie, internally). The display & thermostat worked fine for me connecting to only one, and the illustrated installation procedure actually addresses this. (The wifi alone didn’t work, but I don’t believe that the wiring had anything to do with that.)
