It's not a mechanical keyboard so yes it's pretty quiet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Corsair seems to make three types of keyboard on the higher end. Loud click, soft click and silent. This keyboard is a membrane keyboard with soft clicks. It is not annoyingly loud, although you will hear the soft clicking. I like the feel of the keyboard and so does my son who is the primary user. The only thing that is odd about the keyboard is all the RGB settings are internal and I Cue isn't required. However when the pc off if you push a key the keyboard lights up, and the only way to shut it off is to turn the pc on and turn shut it down. I have read that you need to disable the keyboard to wake the pc up when it goes to sleep. I have not done this yet so I don't know if it will be any help.

As for the keyboard, it's a membrane keyboard and would effectively be as loud as a membrane keyboard. If you have any other questions, please reach out: support.corsair.com
