A:Answer Depending on the rest of your system specs, 800w may be on the edge of sufficient. It is a good certified PSU, which helps. I’d say if your processor is a Ryzen 5800x or less or Intel i5 or less down to maybe 9000 series Intel, you’re probably safe power level wise.
Whether the plug will melt is mostly dependent on getting it plugged in as completely as possible.
