- Answer This is just a drive, no partition software and no drivers. It is plug and play. Acts like a thumb drive or any other external ssd/hdd.

- Answer default is exFat, but you can repartition it to whatever format you need. Keep in mind Fat32 file size limit is 4gb per file.

- Answer It is a very sensitive drive if you accidentally pull it out of the MAC while writing it will give you this message so don't do that. Just back up and save what is on the drive to another drive then format 5his drive and it can be used again. It's no a very forgiving drive unfortunately however you can recover stuff so maybe it is. I recommend woven cables they don't bend and lose connection after long use.
