If you want to add to your ram i would suggest getting two new sticks however since the new one if you purchase a faster brand will slow down to the other rams speeds. most ram sticks will come in a pair of two and i have done this to this computer already with the anarchy product i have attached to this answer. i replaced it with the anarchy 32GB (2PK x 16GB) 3.2 GHz DDR4 but you can replace it with what ever you feel comfortable paying. Ram ranges from $50 - 500+
