A:AnswerNot sure if this completely answers your question. But the box lists the minimum starting temperature as -20 C; but also states they are “not for use in totally enclosed fixtures.
A:AnswerYes and no. Literally. Each bulb has its own IP address and that's how they are addressable by the app and smart home systems like Alexa. The commands sent to the lamps are short and sweet and will have no impact whatsoever on your home WiFi's performance. Just make sure your WiFi has enough DHCP space to accommodate the number of bulbs you intend to install. Think of each one as a computer. Essentially, that's exactly what they are. Just with a specialized purpose.
A:AnswerThere is currently no support in the Cync app for sound or music control, one of the significant downfalls of this 'system' IMO. I can't believe it won't come in time and can't understand why there doesn't seem to be a priority on it from GE, and yet here we are.
Many smart home hubs like Alexa have ways to work around it but they are cumbersome when not supported directly by the manufacturer. So far, they haven't been worth the trouble to me, but I haven't missed the feature as much as I thought I would, especially given all the positive benefits I've gained from going to them.
A:AnswerWiFi. I set mine up with the CE app then added them to my Alexa app and use that to turn on and off, change colors and set on/off times. Works great. Using an Arris router with a 5G network. but set it up using the 2 G option.
A:AnswerMy router is capable of both and I had no issues getting the connection. And yes, you can just ask Alexa to change the color, dim them, and turn them off and on! They are decent smart bulbs.
A:AnswerI had the chance to visit the website and as long as you have proof of purchase and malfunctioning lighting then you should get a replacement. I doubt a refund!

A:AnswerNo. This one is not Bluetooth. It is wifi direct connect as the box states. There is one that is just like this one but the package says Bluetooth. Thats the one you want if you are looking for Bluetooth connection. But pay close attention to the packaging as they look almost identical to one another.
