A:Answer No. But... I was really hung up on this myself when I started my project. I wanted all 100 watt or I didn't want to 'play.' I put the project off for months waiting for 100 watt bulbs to come along. I finally resigned myself that it wasn't going to happen anytime soon and bought one package to play with for a trial run. By the end of the same day, I had bought an additional 3 boxes (of 4) and by the end of the week, my whole home was changed out to 60 watt bulbs everywhere. I have never looked back, nor have I missed having 100 watts most everywhere, which is something I wouldn't have believed when I started. My concerns were totally unfounded.
Why? I think it's the true colors. Remember that you can make a bulb 'daylight' or 'soft white' or even 'blue' on command, as well as being able to control hue and brightness.
If they ever do make 100 watt bulbs, I may buy a box for some really specialized applications, but then again; I may not. I really don't need them. Again, you have to learn to re-think everything when you jump into this and that was the hardest lesson for me to learn.
