It records from DLink IP cameras already on your network. They do not connect physically to the recorder.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have (4) Dlink cameras connected to this works off the same network that the cameras are connected to via wifi. Once it's connected via cable to router and USB storage. It connects automatically & works awesome. Must have some understanding of how computers and video utilities work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use D-Link network cameras. The recorder connects to your local network router, and the cameras are "discovered" using the software provided by the recorder manufacturer. You can also download an app for your smartphone to view the recordings. Instructions are in the box. If you're not using D-Link wireless network cameras I am uncertain how the recorder would work. Hope this helps. PS: D-Link cameras work well, but the Microsoft Edge browser does not support the D-Link remote viewing application. Cameras can be viewed well with the D-Link app on smartphones or iPads.
