• A:Answer Great question Ed. As previously mentioned, the included cables are 60 feet each. Extensions are available in 60 and 120 lengths for a maximum cable length of 300 feet.

Q: QuestionCan this system be viewed by more than one phone at the same time. Can my wife and I both view them with our phones.

• A:Answer Thank you for your question. The system can be viewed from multiple devices simultaneously provided your internet connection can handle the data upload. You would both need to log into the same Defender HD account, a DVR cannot be added to two different accounts.

Q: QuestionWe have our house wired with Swann security system. App is horrible, notifications only come in via email which I hate. How are notifications sent and will I receive via email? Do you have 24/7 support via phone?

Q: QuestionIs this camera system wired connect to the modem/rounder or wifi? That is the camera wired only for plug in the outlet?

• A:Answer Hello Jenny, thank you for your inquiry. This system is not wireless in any sense. There is a direct connection between the camera and DVR. However, once you have the DVR connected to your own wireless router/modem, you would be able to set the system up to be viewed remotely remotely from a smart phone. Q: QuestionIs the video color or black and white? Also dose the unit come with cable? Is RG6 cable wire compatible to use to wire cameras?

• A:Answer These cameras record full colour during the day in a bright setting. Once night falls or the room is dark, black and white infrared will activate. RG6 cable may be used with BNC and power connectors, however we would recommend using our pre-assembled cables. Full function with 3rd party or handmade cables is not guaranteed.
