Ignore the ignorance in this Q&A section. The HDD is easily replaceable with a SSD or SSHD and it will NOT void your warranty. The bottom cover removes easily and the drive bay is very simple to get at. This upgrade DOES NOT require an expert.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not an expert. The whole thing is on one motherboard fully integrated so it may need a technical expert to do it. But if you choose to do it, dell will no longer cover with their warranty services as per sales person's advise. So if I were you, I will wait for warranty to complete and replace ssd.
