• This Dell model does not come with a port into which you can plug an ethernet cable. You would have to use an adapter cable (or other device) that would connect your ethernet cable to an available USB port on the laptop.

• An inexpensive USB 3.0 to Ethernet dongle will work just fine. I purchased one. There is no Ethernet jack on this 2 in 1. You need the dongle. Avoid the Realtek chip based units; purchase a dongle that uses the ASIX AX88179 chipset - like the official dongle by Dell or from another manfacturer like StarTech.
