A:Answer The chassis is plastic; however, it is built very solid, having almost no flex on the keyboard and acceptable flex on the screen. Despite it being plastic, it doesn’t feel very cheap to me, but still doesn’t feel incredibly premium as expected. For portability, I’d say it’s okay. The laptop starts out around 5 pounds and only goes up, and if you want to bring the charger along (which you most likely will need), that will add an extra pound or two. Overall, I feel that at this price point, it is most certainly a good purchase.
