A:AnswerI wouldn’t try to install call XP directly on this laptop or any new laptop but I would recommend installing a virtual machine like virtualbox. I did it but also I had access to a Windows XP license. With virtualbox it is simply an icon on your windows 10 desktop which launches a window of windows XP and in its entirety it actually boots up a Windows XP desktop and you shut it down just like you do windows XP. in the little box running do it doesn’t know that it’s running inside of a windows 10 operating system. You can set up a shared folder or share a usb drive or dvd drive that allows you to pass files between the windows XP environment and the windows 10 environment. For people who don’t have an XP license it’s possible to run the virtual XP for 30 days and then when it expires simply re-create the virtual XP again and use it for another 30 days. See YouTube for instructions. Good luck!
A:AnswerThe main difference seems to be that the one with 2400 megahertz comes with Windows 10 S Mode. Windows 10 in S mode is a version of Windows 10 that runs only apps from the Microsoft Store.
If you purchase the one in S Mode, you could turn it off but the megahertz would drop.
I purchased the one not in S Mode as I knew I prefer Chrome to Edge (the only internet available in S Mode). I had other issues with the computer and am returning it so I don't have an opinion of the speed without S Mode.
A:AnswerI was able to go to my local bestbuy today and have them order me a laptop that was on their website but not in stock. They had some at their warehouse they were able to get sent to the store. Might be worth a shot asking them, just give them the SKU # I would recommend also going to the store and talking to someone not calling.
A:AnswerSame happened with me and would only would being connected to a power source. Was told it was a default with this model. And would take more money to fix it than to just buy a new computer. Very disappointed.
