• I've been getting about 6 hours of constant, rigorous use without special power saving settings. Could probably get more if I tried. An SSD will increase battery life by approximately 1 hour.

• I get about 6 hours max casual use. Maybe 3 or less playing graphics intense games.

• Battery life will depend on several factors, such as screen brightness, level of cpu usage, etc. Under heavy load, battery life isn't great...maybe 3-4 hours tops. But you have to remember, it's a powerful pc with an i7 processor, not an iPad.
