“No owners manual came with my computer There was no owners manual in the computer box, only a quick start guide. I would think they should have been a owners manual that explained things in detail, this was a new computer bought at best buy and was in a sealed box how would I get a owners manual?”

You should be able to find a manual at the Dell website or just google the computer name + owner's manual.
