- Answer Docking station comes with its own power cord. It's port is next to the hdmi port. In the picture shown, the wire coming out of the side is fixed to docking. That's the C port wire that connects to laptop.

- Answer I don't see how it can work with a device that does not have a C port. C port is the trend now with laptops for the past couple of years. I bought my Dell Inspirion 16 2in1 about a year ago. That was new to me.
