I have not had this laptop very long but have had no problems with it heating up or not cooling down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does seem to cool itself pretty well. The exhaust vents are between the keyboard and screen so it blows up when open and down when closed. Like most laptops it needs a hard surface for airflow.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Vents for the cooling fan are on the bottom of the unit. Cooling is good so long as it is on a hard surface or on a soft surface with only a few points of contact (e.g. your lap). I would not recommend leaving the system on when on a flat soft surface like upholstered furniture or carpet.
