The XPS 15 rocks. It has a lightning fast response most of the time. The picture from the 4K screen is just stunning. I was concerned about the internet speeds and connectivity issues after perusing online reviews, however, The internet has been impressively rapid and have no connective issues thus far. The only fault I can report on is under heavy usage sometimes it will stutter slightly like when you move the mouse but have to wait for it to reappear. Also, note that the battery life is average but to be expected with these high-end specs. I have been using it more like a desktop with a wireless Bluetooth mouse and keyboard hooked up (using their own receivers). I'm usually streaming music on a Bluetooth speaker connected to the XP's Bluetooth, while my android phone is hooked up on Bluetooth as well. So far this laptop has handled every application I've thrown at it with aplomb. Would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a fast, portable laptop.

best computer I've used in a long time

While I don't necessarily need 32gb of ram, the price wasn't that much different from the 16gb. This is definitely the fastest computer I've ever used. Granted, I don't have much on it after only having it a month, but I have a feeling it's going to take quite a lot to bog down 32 gigs of ram and 1 tb SSD. The keyboard is soft and I like the large track pad. I really like Window's 10 also. The camera placement is definitely in a bad spot, but I don't use it so it doesn't bother me. Looks like Dell finally moved it for the new version. I've read other reviews where people use this for gaming and I might do that down the road. The batteries certainly aren't what they used to be. I can get a couple days out of a charge with what I would call minimal use. If you have the money to spend, I would certainly recommend taking a look at this.

This laptop is amazing, it's smoking fast, starts right up, and cranks through very large file-size video work with no problem. The only issue I have is that the fan makes an awful lot of noise, even when the screen is shut, to the point that I have to turn it off. It's also pricey.

My old Dell (XPS 15 [9550]) developed a swollen battery and I discovered (to my dismay) that the Dell battery replacement offer had expired (without my ever being notified) and that Dell no longer sold batteries for this model. I ordered the 9570 as a replacement. All of my docks and accessories work perfectly with the new one. I had grown accustomed to the 9550 and the 9570 is almost identical with some extras that make a big difference to me. Like the 9550, the 4K display is spectacular. What I didn’t expect was that calibrating the monitor made almost no difference. The colors were close to perfect out of the box. The 32GB of memory make a big difference with memory-hungry applications (like Lightroom and Photoshop). I was confused that the power button did not have a light in it… until I found that it doubled as a fingerprint reader. Logging in has never been easier. This is without a doubt the best laptop I have owned. I am thinking of ordering a spare battery just in case.

Purchased as a gift for my wife for her photo editing and it works great. The 4K HD touchscreen is amazing and what you see on the screen is exactly what you get when you transfer the photos to others or show on the TV. Computer is lightweight with a ton of power

What a fast, powerful machine for a laptop! The screen is extremely detailed, and there’s no need to worry about storage space. Only thing I don’t really use is the touchscreen aspect, but it’s neat for allowing an additional method of interactivity with it.

I've had my XPS 15 (9570) about a month and love it. It is fast and has a ton of storage on the 1TB SSD even after the OS and 'bloatware'. The touchscreen is a nice feature--though not sure worth the extra money. I'd definitely recommend this machine.

I wanted laptop that was fast and had a clear picture. I'm able to watch Netflix and the picture is so precise you would think you're watching a TV. Also within 5 seconds, my computer is already booted. Great speed. Impressed for sure. Great investment.

Loved the laptop. Used it for audio/video editing and same gaming. Then the touch pad started to rise up from battery swell. When I took it in Geeksquad said they couldn't change the battery, it had to be shipped out for the warranty to apply, even though I could find several replacement batteries online at the time, warranty was free, but would take up to 4 weeks. Had to wait till school was over as this was the only pc in house for virtual school, end of 2020 COVID lock. After school ended brought it back, On phone Geeksquad promised to backup laptop free of charge, no need to do/bring anything. Get to store, and they made me either by another external drive or drive back home and get an empty drive, but they did wave the "fee" for back up service. Tracking showed it took them a week just to ship from the store, another 2 weeks to inspect, 2 more waiting on parts, finally last week it said may not be repairable. No call or contact. Called geeksquad, they couldn't find my repair order and suggested I physically go back to store. Go back and waited in line for hour. Finally they found my order after extensive looking. Finally they found it and told me that they couldn't get a battery and had scrapped the laptop and would give me store credit on purchase. Go to get a replacement. Clerk was clueless, but seemed to know everything about what I had just loss. Pointed me to a far inferior model (less processor, memory, drive...) Said no and left. Tried to shop online but stats where inaccurate. but narrowed down two possible available in store models. Went to store (hoping to get differenet person), blocked by same guy. Asked clarifying questions, had no answers, asked if I could see the two to make the final decision, as they were no displays for that model. Told No! Asked one last clarification, and got an confident asnwer...Only to find out after buying the replacement that it was a total lie! Moderately happy with replacement. but the time and energy almost made it not worth it.

I had to order this twice as the first time it came damaged. It was sent in the box it comes in. Period. No box in a box with tons of peanuts or bubble wrap just as is. So this was an extra trip to the store to reorder, very annoying this is the shipping department of BB tho. Then I got the second one. It would not come on. If you held it down talked to the power button so I had someone look ar it, not sure what they did but now it comes in in 2 seconds and really flies. I think the machine can do more than I know. Really sleek to look at. The keyboard has a texture to it and not slippery like my last sell. Now it is the amazing machine I had hoped for. I hope it lasts 10years.

I bought this primarily for business use, and have found it to be a fantastic laptop. I had previously owned a Dell many years ago that i was not that happy with, but this is a whole different situation. It is fast and has great screen resolution. This laptop does everything I need it to do.

It is still early on, but should be a good laptop for daughters college. To early to tell, she starts in two weeks. A purchase this size should have qualified for six or twelve months free financing.

Overall, I have no complaints with the laptop's performance. It's just that the keyboard is not good enough for typing. I think Dell could have done something more to improve it. Otherwise, it's a good sleek and stylish machine to have.

Decided to move to a Windows machine from my Macbook Pro and VM. This machine with the 32 Gb on board and the 6 core has the power without a ton of fan noise. Display is sharp and the motion graphics are above par. Primarily use this machine for development and analytics visuals against very large data sets.
