A: About 5-6 hours right now. Look at using an app called "throttlestop" by Undervolt, it will help manage your power use and also the laptop temperature. If you find your laptop running hot, use XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility), it's a free app that will help determine if your CPU is indeed running hot (90+ celsius range). Dell has a great fix for this, they needed to redo the thermal paste and replace the thermal pipe. Hope this helps!
Q: Is this lap top good for photography Editing.?
A: Absolutely! This is the first laptop I have owned for which the gamut looked almost unchanged after color calibration. This was not true for my XPS-15(9550). The 32GB in the XPS-15(9570) also made Lightroom noticeably faster than XPS-15(9550) with 16GB.
Q: Does this have a CD player builtin ?
A: No, this laptop doesn't have a builtin CD player.
A: Yes it comes with a fingerprint reader, it is built into the power button. And yes it comes with the extended 6 cell battery.
A: Depending on screen and cpu models, from 6hrs to 12hrs +/-
A: I'm pretty sure this is the "maxed out" version. The base model is only $1000. You might have to talk to a store or order direct from Dell.
A: Yes, the fingerprint sensor is built into the circle power button right beside the keyboard.
