after talking with the store tech guy, I found out that it's a common problem. because i was going to use these at work and it's not good to have random skiping so i decided to return all 6 speakers. it's unfortunate since $99 (Thanksgiving sale) was a great price and sound was decent (though Sonos Play 1 is better. didn't get Play 1 because of Denon was much cheaper at the time).
