Sounds like you're trying to run an application from the drive you pulled out of your Dell. Some programs will work but most will be required to be reinstalled as they have required entries in the Windows Registry. Think of the windows Registry as a library of instructions for all your installed programs that tells Windows how various functions of the applications work. If they aren't in the registry, Windows doesn't know how the programs are supposed to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.After doing some looking, that error appears to be one of 2 things. Either there are bad sectors on the HD or something is wrong with the registry. I would recommend taking the HDD to a professional to have them look at the HDD itself.
