QuestionIs it possible my stand was installed by the manufacturer backwards?If we put the TV on the stand as shown, there is no way to screw it in properly. If we put it on backwards and screw it in, it will be top heavy and topple. The holes are facing the interior if we put it on the way it is---there is no way to screw it in,.

- Answer The stand holes should face the back of the TV and the screws should go through the holes in the back of the TV then into the ones in the stand. The stand post sets farther towrd the back than the front. Stand post to front of stand is about 8". Stand post to rear of stand is about 4". So be sure the largest part of the stand is in front of the TV. The stand can swivel but it should have no front to back or side to side movement when the screws are tightened down. Even as heavy as the stand and TV is, it should not easily move. Because of it's weight be sure you have a very strurdy thick table that won't warp easily over time. Hope this helps

- Answer Try removing the batteries from the remote to verify it is actually the TV and not the remote malfunctioning. It's much easier to get the remote replaced. If it's the TV, I would return it for a replacement.

QuestionCan I use a different audio input while watching an HDMI source?My Macbook will not pass audio through HDMI, so can I use another audio input on the TV while watching the HDMI input? How do I do this?

- Answer I am using a mini DVI to VGA adapter and the VGA input on the left side of the Dynex. There is a 1/8 audio input below the4 VGA input that you can use with your headphone out on the mac. Total price for the parts pictured was around $10.00 delivered.

- Answer Generally speaking, a message of "Not Supported" means that the device you're connecting to your TV is not sending a compatible signal.

- Answer A way for the computer to turn the monitor (TV) on or off. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VESA_Display_Power_Management_Signaling From the manual: "DPMS–Use this setting with a computer. When DPMS is on, the computer controls whether the screen is on or off. For example, if the computer is in sleep mode, the screen is switched off. If the computer is activated, the screen also is activated."

Questionhelpwhen I hook up a component using the AV in1 or AV in2 (and select the corresponding input) all I get is NO Signal on the screen. Is there something else I need to do. I can hook up this same componenet to another TV and it works fine. I just purchased this floor model tv and I did not get an ownerrs manual, so your help would be appreciated

- Answer short answer is yes, there are multiple ways to accomplish this. the first and most direct way is to plug a 3.5mm JACK AUDIO STEREO Male/ Male CABLE more commonly known as an AUX or auxiliary cable into the PC audio in slot. (note you may have to have the TV on the PC input mode to hear it The other way(s) would be to hook something else up to your TV (if you have an xbox/googleTV or some other thing that has internet capabilities and can set up a media streaming link such as windows media center or apple TV. and simply link up your computer with the itunes songs and play using your TVs speakers. hope this helps
