QuestionShould Ground & Surge lights be on when unit is plugged in ?

- Answer According to the manual, the "ground" light should be on. The manual doesn't explain the "surge" light, but it is on with mine.

QuestionHow far do the outlet sections swivel?Do they go all the way to the side or do they just swivel a tiny bit like in the picture?

QuestionWhy is there an extra plastic prong on the back of the unit?There is an extra plastic prong above the other prongs making it impossible to plug this unit into the wall outlet. Is it just for packaging and needs to be removed before use?

- Answer The extra plastic prong is (1) to insure that the unit is inserted into the wall plug with the proper orientation and (2) to provide stability. However, it can be removed with a hack saw or some other cutting tool without compromising the functionality of the unit.
