You also have the option to disable the brush bar, to vacuum with just suction power, in the instance there is any concern of using a spinning brush bar on your flooring. - Answer I have the Animal 3, purchased about 6 months ago, and if that's the item you're asking about, I can 1000% relate! I like the cleaning capability of the unit, EXCEPT for the detachable hose. I could lose my mind when I need to use it!
