QuestionI am very disappointed with this product. The floor head keeps coming off when vacuuming. I called customer service and they walked me through a series of steps that fixed the problem at the time. Today, it came off numerous times.

- Answer I've had mine for a few years and I have not replaced anything yet. Although I do clean it about twice a year. There's a sock-like filter that can be rinsed in water. I do rinse the canister but I am very careful not to get water on the integrated filters. I do this out on my porch because the dust goes everywhere however I do manage to collect most of it in a small bag. Then I leave it all out in the sunshine to dry off. I also treat the rubber seals with Armorall.

QuestionI have the purple dyson for pets. I'd say she's about 16 years old. Do you still have this style vacuum? I've heard these ball heads are rough on wrists and shoulders if you are an older person. I love my dyson. Only had to have it repaired once.

QuestionWhere are the tools attached on this vacuum? On my current vacuum (not a Dyson), the tools are attached to the wand itself, making it very difficult to use the wand under beds and furniture. How long is the wand without the hose? Thanks! El Gato

- Answer Hi there, this is Jenifer with Dyson. The tools do not attach to the machine. They may be stored separately in the Dyson tool bag, sold separately or included with select models. QuestionI have a Dyson cordless vac, one of the more powerful models. Is an upright significantly better at cleaning? I have never used an upright, before I got the cordless, I had a canister, not a Dyson and I think the cordless Dyson does a much better job.
