    • Answer Hi there, this is Jenifer with Dyson. The Gen1 HP10 filter is designed to be replaced every 12 months. That's because over time, filters can get clogged with pollutants, and even let unpleasant odors back into the room. The machine will alert you when it’s time to change filters.     • Answer Yes. It filters down to .03 microns. Cat fur is probably about 30. microns at the smallest. (guessing) A virus is about 0.1 micron in size, a bacterium is about 1.0 micron in size, and N95 masks (excluding their electrostatic effect) filter down to about 5 microns. Cloth masks are less efficient.

Coolest Setting: While it does not function as an air conditioner, it provides 10 airflow speed settings to circulate air effectively.   • QuestionHow well does this unit work with dog hair. Does it get clogged more often and have a secondary filter that may need to be cleaned more ofter with an abundance of dog hair and dander in the air?
