QuestionHow much energy does the heater typically use? I’ve had heaters before which increased my electricity bill to the point where I no longer could afford to use it. Thank you.

- Answer Hi Suki, this is Kelly with Dyson. When using the Purifier Hot + Cool HP07 in heater mode, it will be drawing 2250 watts, so you'd very likely notice a slight uptick in your electric bill. - Answer Hello Coco, this is Kelly with Dyson. Any time you have your HP07 Pure Hot + Cool machine on, it's purifying the air, whether in heat or cool mode. QuestionIs it possible to set a schedule and use the heat to reach a certain temperature at a certain time?

- Answer Hi there, this is Tia from Dyson. Due to federal safety regulation UL278, the Dyson HP07 will only allow you to control the heat settings from the remote control and not the Dyson Link App. This means you will not be able to program a start time for heat functions from the App. Thanks for your interest in Dyson technology! QuestionThe TPO7 filter smell is not going away. I have had it for 3 weeks. It seems I am not the first to complain, should the machine be returned? Or does Dyson replace the filter when this smell is with some machines?

QuestionWhat is the BTU rating?

- Answer Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We don't measure our machines in terms of BTU's. While our machines do have a heating element, they're measured in watts. While in heat mode, the purpose is to provided heated, purified air in to your room. How well it heats your space would vary, depending on factors such as doors and windows, how warm the room already is, the air temperature outside, etc. With our Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifiers, you can set the desired air temperature all the way to 99 degrees, and you have 10 airflow speeds to choose from. QuestionI have the HP01 and I do not like that on the heat setting, this will blow cold air once the room temperature reached setting temperature. Will this model do the same? I would prefer it shut off and only turn on once heat drops below set temperature.

- Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. When the machine is on, either in heating or cooling mode, it will always be purifying the air. In order for it to purify the air, the machine needs to be drawing air inward through the machine's advanced filtration. You do need to have the machine on in order to achieve that. This model does feature backward airflow mode, so you can have it on, with the air flowing through the base of the loop, rather than outward through the front and into the room. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the atmosphere. For instance in a room of 139 square feet, the machine will purify the room in 25 minutes.
