QuestionI've got a switch pass through to ATV from my tivo recording device, I bought two HDMI to USBC capture devices both failing on audio signals. Can this device first work with aN HDMI Splitter And then can it also pass through at least stereo audio?

- Answer I guess the only answer is buy and return, I don't like companies that use communities to test out their shortfalls. I already own two capture devices, neither one works Both claimed they would. It's a lose lose situation seems.

- Answer This can only record 1080, but it can passthrough up to 4k. If you need 1440p capture, then the Elgato 4K60X+ will work.
